Drug Trafficking Gang Of Bedoun And Asian Nationals Held
Anti-narcotics men apprehended a drug trafficking gang of Bedoun and Asian nationals, reports Al-Seyassah daily. A security source said a team of detectives was formed to follow up a tip-off the General Drug Control Department (GDCD) received about the activities of the gang, and after confirming validity of the information, detectives raided their hub, arrested all four suspects, and recovered 150 grams of heroin valued at 100 thousand dinars.
They admitted ownership of the drugs, which they were intending to sell to customers. Public Relations Department of GDCD stated the sector will continue the fight against drug trafficking to sustain security and safety in society.
