Darshan In Kuwait 2022 - An Experience To Remember For Indian Women In Kuwait
On Friday, 11th November 2022, Indian Women In Kuwait (IWIK) organized a unique, fun-filled Kuwait Darshan under the guidance of the community portal IndiansinKuwait.com.
It was an exclusive day out for women from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM where women not only toured iconic Kuwaiti places, but also had a lot of fun.
On the 'City Bus' Double Decker bus, the fun began with the Boat Ride, which all enjoyed thoroughly. A 20-minute boat ride offered a glimpse of Kuwait's grandeur. As part of the tour, we visited significant landmarks such as the Sheikh Jabar Cultural Centre, the Cultural Museum, the National Library, the Kuwait Tower, the Indian Embassy, Kuwait Souq Sharq, Dickson House, Al Hamra Tower, Seif Palace, Grand Mosque, Kuwait Stock Exchange, Parliament, City Church, Liberation Tower, Darwaaza, Dar Al Athar and the Governorate. Our journey included a proper explanation of the importance of the important landmarks. The trip also provided the ladies with a rare opportunity to enjoy each other's company and learn about Kuwait's history. The tour then proceeded towards Green Island and the Scientific Center, and the Kuwait National Museum.
Spot questions with exciting prizes etc, added charm to the trip. The tour concluded at the Bait Al-Othman Museum. This is a historical museum in Kuwait located in Hawalli. The museum is dedicated to the history and culture of Kuwait from the pre-oil era to the present time.
Their main sponsor, American Tourister, and their logistic partner, City Bus, arranged a special double-decker City Bus, which made the trip convenient and comfortable for the ladies. The City Bus double-decker ride gave a beautiful view of the entire Kuwait City for all the passengers during the journey.
IWIK (Indian Women In Kuwait) is an organization established under the auspices of IIK (IndiansInKuwait.com), which provides a place for Indian women living in Kuwait to learn, gain, have fun, and express themselves. Earlier the IWIK Team successfully organized a series of offline events for the women's community in Kuwait.
