City Centre Is Now Known As City Hypermarket
In a grand ceremony held last week, City Centre proudly unveiled its new name and a refreshed identity, which will now be known as "City Hypermarket."
The announcement was made at the company's headquarters in Manara Mall nestled in the bustling industrial estate of Shuwaikh, and was attended by the Management, its valued partners and the Media.
The rebranding marks a significant milestone amidst a series of recent developments and expansions witnessed by the company. Notably, City Hypermarket celebrated its regional expansion with the inauguration of its first branch in the State of Qatar in December 2023.
Additionally, the company has undertaken extensive renovations across all 12 stores distributed throughout Kuwait, with a focus on enhancing the shopper experience, especially at it’s Salmiya branch, which is among the largest hypermarket store formats in the country, spanning an impressive area of 25,000 square meters. It also boasts an extensive inventory of over 120,000 products across a variety of departments.
Mr. Nasser Alghanim, Deputy CEO, expressed immense pride in this crucial step, which would help elevate the shopping experience and usher in a new era of continual innovation at City Hypermarket. He stressed the company's commitment to ongoing expansion efforts, both within Kuwait and within the region, throughout the current year beginning with the opening of the newest branch of City Hypermarket in Al Muhallab Mall, Hawally.
