Ced Arrested A Kuwaiti Accused Of Killing A Bedoun In Sulaibiya Nine Days Ago

In compliance with the instructions of Assistant Undersecretary for Criminal Security Affairs at the Interior Ministry Major General Khaled Al-Deyeen and Director of Criminal Security Department Major General Mohammad Al-Sharhan, a security team from the Criminal Evidence Department arrested a Kuwaiti accused of killing a Bedoun in Sulaibiya nine days ago. The suspect, who was arrested in Salmi, admitted the crime and told investigators that he also fired a gun at the victim one year ago.

According to a security source, the suspect, who was born in 1980, fired at the victim five times, adding that the victim was born in 1976 and a friend of the suspect. The source disclosed Al-Sharhan ordered the formation of a security team to arrest the suspect. The team summoned more than 30 persons suspected of committing the crime and a thorough investigation led to the arrest of the citizen who admitted the crime.

The citizen told investigators that he also tried to kill the victim one year ago when he fired at the latter thrice due to a dispute between them. He accused the victim of using black magic on him. Thinking that his friend tried to kill him through black magic, the suspect invited his friend to his house in Sulaibiya where he shot him to death and then escaped from the scene. A case was registered and the suspect was referred to the Public Prosecution.
