Beginning This Summer, Gulf Air Will Fly To Rome, Milan, Nice, And Manchester
During market recovery, the airline resumes summer operations to popular destinations such as Greece, Spain, Egypt, and Oman and expands its network further
In addition to two destinations in Italy, a new destination in France, and a new destination in the United Kingdom, Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, is adding four new boutique destinations to its global network.
From 1 June 2022, Milan will offer five weekly flights
Rome, as well as two weekly flights in 1 June 2022
Manchester, two weekly flights starting 1 June 2022
Nice, two weekly flights starting 2 June 2022
In Milan, Rome, and Nice, the airline will operate with its Airbus A321neo every two weeks, and five times a week in Milan, while in Manchester, it will operate with its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner twice a week. The airline will also resume operations to Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, Malaga in Spain, Sharm Al-Shaikh and Alexandria in Egypt, and Salalah in Oman during the summer season.
The announcement was made by Gulf Air's Acting Chief Executive Officer Captain Waleed AlAlawi who commented: "By adding Milan, Rome, Manchester, and Nice to our network, we continue to expand our network.". We had been looking forward to adding these new destinations and we knew the right time was now to launch these new routes for our passengers. As tourism grows in a healthy accelerated way for the summer holidays, we keep adding popular boutique destinations that are popular among tourists and families in the Kingdom of Bahrain."
Gulf Air announced its boutique business model concept in 2019 as part of its plan to become the airline of choice for its customers. The concept reinforces its focus on product and customer experience, demonstrating the success of the implementation of this strategy. Its fleet modernization strategy, its Falcon Gold product offering, its upgraded economy experience, and its presence at Bahrain International Airport give Gulf Air a competitive advantage.
Gulf Air offers flights to the following destinations: to and from Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Medina, Muscat, Tel Aviv, Larnaca, Baku, Tbilisi, Moscow, Casablanca, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Athens, Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Dhaka, Colombo and several destinations in India and Pakistan.
As a result of APEX's Five Star Major Official Airline Rating, Gulf Air has received a five-star rating for the first time. A rigorous audit by Skytrax Research, which took place between November and December 2021, has also awarded Gulf Air with the COVID-19 Five Star Airline Safety Rating. By winning the award, Gulf Air has proven that its operations have been safe throughout the pandemic and that it has enhanced its airport and onboard protocols to stem the spread of COVID-19. The airline maintains its boutique strategy to deliver its renowned Arabian hospitality while providing its customers and staff with the highest standards.
