Allegations Of Fraud Against Nine Kuwaiti Steel Companies

In an effort to increase steel prices, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's consumer protection teams booked nine steel companies on Saturday. KUNA reports that the ministry made the decision after its market watch department noticed unjustifiable increases in rebar prices in Al-Shuwaikh Industrial Areas.

According to the statement, nine companies will face prosecution for fraud and market manipulation.
