9000 Young Job-seekers Submitted Their Applications To Csc

29 August 2017 Kuwait

The 60th registration period for people to apply for jobs in the public sector ended last Friday.

The two-week period witnessed a record number of applications being submitted to the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

About 9,000 young applicants submitted their applications. The previous registration periods had never seen such demand for work in the public sector.

Sources from CSC affirmed that the Central Employment Agency will classify jobseekers starting from Sept 8, whereby it will give higher priority for employment to the new applicants, followed by those who had applied in the past and had either rejected the state institutions to which they were appointed or were rejected by the state institutions.
