74 People Arrested After Security Campaign

Security men arrested 74 violators of labor and residence laws, according to the General Administration of Residence Affairs Investigation and Violators Follow-Up Department, including 20 people reported missing by their sponsors, 14 people whose residence permits had expired, and three people who had no document.

According to a local Arabic daily citing sources from the Ministry of Interior's Public Relations and Security Media Department, the campaign is part of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas' directives to arrest outlaws and wanted persons in the best interests of the people's security and safety. The security campaigns, according to the administration, are still ongoing.
