6310 Expatriates Lost Their Work Permits In January

Official data issued by the Public Authority for Manpower revealed that 6,310 work permits fell through for expatriates from January 12 to January 31. In detail, about 2790 work permits were canceled due to the expats’ departure from the country, 413 were for the death of the worker, 151 for transferring to family visas, and 2,956 had their residency expire as they were stranded outside the country, Al Rai daily reported.
