39,374 Traffic Citations Were Issued
General Traffic Department launched a number of traffic campaigns in all governorates of the State of Kuwait during the period between July 24 and July 30. During these campaigns, 39,374 traffic citations were issued, 1,545 vehicles and six motorbikes were seized, 49 individuals were arrested for committing traffic violations and six expatriates were referred for deportation for driving without drivers’ license. In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the department affirmed that such traffic campaigns will be carried out in all governorates of the country against the violators of Kuwaiti traffic law.
