3 Month Additional Absence Permit For Those Outside The Country With Valid Visa - Moi

As the residency affairs department are closed across the country, Ministry of Interior announced that all type of Visa which are expired after March 1st will get a 3-month extension automatically. However, this will not be applicable for those whose residency expired before March 1st. They have to leave the country utilizing the amnesty scheme announced by the country.

In addition to this, Al-Qabas Arabic newspaper reported that 3-month extension will be given to those who are outside the country with valid visa to enter the country. "An additional 3-month absence permit will be given to all residents who are currently outside the country, provided that their residency is valid", Al-Qabas Arabic newspaper reported.

In case the residence expired while the residents are outside the country, they must submit new procedures to obtain temporary visa, daily added.

Daily also reported that by cooperating with the Ministry of Health, it postponed the medical examination of residence for all cases and for those who require fingerprinting procedures can coordinate with the General Department of Criminal Evidence to facilitate the same.
