2.5 Million Passengers Traveled Since The Lifting Of Entry Restrictions For Arrivals

More than 2.5 million citizens and residents traveled through Kuwait International Airport during the first 5 months after Kuwait opens its airport for arrival of expatriates to the country in August last year.

Kuwait opens the arrival of expatriates to the country with two doses of approved vaccine in August 1st last year. During the period period from the first of August until the end of December 2021, 1.377 million citizens and residents left the country, while 1.18 million passengers arrived during the same period.

Kuwait International Airport witnessed more than 22,500 flights since the lifting of travel restrictions on residents until the end of last December, with 11,228 flights coming to Kuwait and 11,276 flights leaving the country.
