192 Aid Planes Arrived From 42 Countries - Lebanon

The Lebanese Army Command indicated in a statement today, Friday, that “after the explosion of the Beirut port on the fourth of this month, several friendly and brotherly countries rushed to send food and medical aid to Lebanon and assigned the task of coordination to the Lebanese army, which received the bulk of this aid. They added, “Associations and non-governmental organizations have received part of it until now, as 192 aircraft arrived from 42 countries, and 5 ships, the army received their cargo, and the quantities allocated to them were delivered to the embassies and associations according to a signed document.

The Lebanese Army Command stated that the army units were able to distribute their food rations in the affected areas, i.e. 40,000 rations, provided that the distribution resumes upon receiving other aid, but it will continue to distribute bread during this period until the amount of flour received by the army runs out. Handing it over to a number of ovens, which in turn provided bread for free.
