A great deal of demand for tickets from citizens and residents in the country was experienced during the National Day holiday and the anniversary of Liberation Day, which caused prices for some travel destinations to increase by more than 200 percent.
Travel specialists told KUNA that the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Turkey, London, Cairo and Beirut are among the most popular destinations for travelers during this holiday season. As a result of the opening of local airlines and new destinations, about 90 percent of travelers attended. Over the past few years.
As a travel office director, Nassib Adnan said that travel demand has reached 90%, and that ticket prices have increased significantly for many travel destinations as a result. A ticket to Bahrain costs 200 dinars, a ticket to Dubai costs 280 dinars, and a ticket to Jeddah costs 220 dinars. Istanbul 350 dinars, and Cairo 300 dinars.
According to Adnan, European countries typically have the largest share of the domestic travel market, with London, Geneva, and Spain ranking first, followed by the rest of Europe.
