12 Protesters Arrested For Abusing And Defying Security Men
The security men from MOI arrested 12 Egyptian expats for uttering inappropriate words and resisting security men in Mubarak Al Kabeer Governorate.
According to a security source the Ministry of the Interior’s operations received a call stating that one of the manpower departments in Abu Fatira was crowded with expats, where about 60 expatriates who had not received their salaries for several months had come to complain.
Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Brigadier General Mubarak Marji, provided buses for a number of workers to drop them to their residence in the Mahboula area, as they stated they had no money with them.
The security men came to the spot found that the expatriates are working on government contracts and did not receive their salaries, as the expatriates were asked to return to their residence, stating that their problem will be dealt with the payment of their financial dues and transferring their residency will be considered by the authority reports Al Anba.
The source stated that the ministry of manpower is in the process of taking measures to address the problem of delayed salaries for expatriates which are unpaid, as well as solving the problem of transferring workers’ residency to other companies.
