Ikea Staff Member Infected With Coronavirus (covid 19)

Marketing Director of Service Department of IKEA tested positive for coronavirus upon her return from Spain, and after resuming work, began experiencing symptoms. She went for the test, and was positive for the coronavirus. She will have to adhere to the doctors’ instructions.

The IKEA HR department informed the staff and requested that they get tested at Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital, and are required to mention that they have been in contact with someone infected with the coronavirus. They are expected to follow the hospital instructions after receiving the results.

For the safety and well-being of her co-workers, IKEA decided that all Service Office workers were permitted to work from home until further notice.
