Court Of Appeals Sentenced Four Kuwaiti Officers Including One Woman To Four Years Imprisonment
The Court of Appeals has upheld the sentence of the lower court and sentenced four Kuwaiti officers, including one woman, to four years imprisonment. The daily without going into details said the four were found guilty of what the daily said, ‘harming the public property’. The four were employees of the Engineering Affairs Sector of the Ministry of Education. The daily added, the court has ordered the convicts to pay KD 50,000 each to stop the enforcement of the verdict and KD 20,000 each for causing harm to the public property. The court also acquitted a retired senior officer who was accused of the same charge by the Public Prosecution more than three years ago.
