Yesterday Cases : 6,913 New Covid-19 Cases, Two Deaths

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health said on Friday that 6,913 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, taking the country’s caseload to 528,254. Some 5,674 more patients recovered from the virus to up the number of those to have overcome the disease to 475,590, said the ministry’s Spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad to KUNA, adding that the recovery to positive case ratio stands at 90.3 percent.

Two fatalities linked to the respiratory virus raised the country’s death toll from the pandemic to 2,492, while 414 people are hospitalized with the virus, 88 of whom are in intensive care units, he told KUNA. Some 35,795 swab tests were conducted over the last day, out of a total of 6,822,237 so far, added the spokesman.
