Workers Protest As Salary Not Paid For 4 Month By An Oil Company In Abdali

A protest sit-down was held by workers of one of the companies operating in the oil sector in the Abdali area in the north of the country, reported Al Rai daily.  The Public Authority for Manpower and Residence Investigations, handled the issue.

The head of the committee at the Manpower Authority, Muhammad Daham Al-Dhafiri, stated that the workers organized a protest vigil the night before yesterday, as they had not received their salaries for 4 months. Al-Dhafiri pointed out that members of the inspection teams in the joint committee noted the details of the strike to take the necessary measures and ensure the rights of the employees are protected.
