Within 20 Days, 3000 Family Visas Were Issued For Children

Residency affairs departments issued about 3,000 family visas within 20 days of opening the family visa for children.

Majority of them are infants and majority are of Arab nationalities, local Arabic daily reported. They were born during the summer vacation in their country and got stuck in their country as Kuwait was not issuing family visa.

Residence affairs departments are still receiving application for family visa for children under five years of age as per the conditions set by the residence affairs sector including the salary ceiling, provided that both parents are present in the country with a valid residency.
