Arabic local newspaper Aljarida reported that the Head of the Union of Owners of Domestic Labor Recruitment Agencies, Khaled Al-Dakhnan, denied the increase in the monthly salaries paid to domestic workers, confirming that all offices affiliated with the union adhere to the salaries of domestic workers according to the agreements concluded with their embassies, which range from 110 to 120 dinars per month.
Al-Dakhnan told that “the continuation of stopping flights from some countries, including those exporting domestic workers, which are India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Nepal, and the consequent failure to resume visas and the wheel of recruitment again, creating a parallel black market for the illegal employment of these workers. , Far from the eyes of the competent authorities .
Violating labor
Al-Dakhnan explained that the shortage in the domestic labor market, in light of stopping the recruitment of new workers a few months ago, especially since most of the workers in the country currently have expired their work contracts and want to return to their countries, made the weak souls and the fake offices trade this labor and raise their monthly operating costs in a manner. Unprecedented fictionalism, stressing the commitment of the union and the offices operating under its umbrella to monthly salaries in accordance with the law (68/2015) issued on domestic workers.
He indicated that there is continuous cooperation between the Union and the Public Authority for Manpower, represented by the Department for Organizing the Recruitment of Domestic Workers, to immediately report the advertisements for the employment of violating domestic workers, or workers working illegally, calling on the concerned authorities to take the necessary legal measures against the fake offices that harm the market And distort the image of Kuwait.
Regarding the resumption of issuing visas from the countries that export these workers, Al-Dakhnan stated that the relevant authorities are working in full swing for the return of visas from these countries.

In addition, the sources of the “manpower” confirmed the continuation of coordination with the Ministry of the Interior to control the promoters of employing these violating workers, noting that during the last period, the authority, in coordination with the detectives, had succeeded in making several seizures for these people and they were arrested and handed over to the General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigation in advance.
