Two Separate Amiri Decrees Issued To Withdraw Kuwaiti Citizenship Of Eight People

In the first decree two women were stripped of their citizenship who had acquired it by ‘dependence’, based on Article 4/13 and Article 1/13 of the Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 of the Kuwaiti Nationality Law and the laws amending it.

The second decree cancelled the citizenship certificate of 6 persons who had acquired it by ‘origin’ from the holder of the certificate who himself had acquired it on the strength of ‘dependency’, in accordance with Article (21 bis A) of Amiri Decree No. 15 of 1959 of the Nationality Law.
