Traffic Department Issuing Small Adhesive Number Plates

The General Traffic Department is issuing a small European adhesive plate for vehicles as an alternative to the metal plate for those who wish to have them,reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The administration said the plate will be attached directly to the vehicle’s body for vehicles that do not have a metal plate base on the front crash barrier, indicating that there are steps that must be followed, which is a request to be sent to the vehicles section of the GTD to replace the plate and apply for the new plate with the plate manufacturer.

In another context, a security source told the Al-Seyassah daily that the Ministry of Interior will, for the first time, select students applying to join the Specialized Officers’ Course next Saturday by a lot system. The GTD said it will start sending messages today to about 900 students who will be included in this. The source pointed out that the applicants, who win the lot, must fulfill all the conditions for admission including they should be holders of Bachelors’ degrees.
