Summer Travel Is Expected To Be Over 6 Million Passengers

There are expected to be 43,145 flights operated by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation between January 1st and September 30th 2022.

In an interview with KUNA on Sunday, DGCA Deputy Director-General for Planning and Projects Saad Al-Otaibi said that air traffic is expected to exceed 6,001,221 passengers this summer.

This big number of passengers is divided between 2,994,786 departures from Kuwait International Airport and 3,006,435 arrivals.

As a result, DGCA employees and services have been increased to absorb these increased numbers.
