Sri Lanka Pm Mahinda Rajapaksa Give-up His Position Due To Economical Crisis In Srilanka

10 May,2022(Colombo):- As the countrywide protestation persists to raisen,On Monday Srilankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa resigned to his post and moved to prepare for new cabinet in emergency of vitiated country.           

According to Srilanka's daily report,A special meeting was held on Friday,in that meeting he President Gotbaya Rajapaksa appealed the PM to resign his place as a determination to solve the going on political straits in the country,after some days of this meeting the PM resigned to his President Gotbaya Rajapaksa is awaited to invite all the  regional parties in parliament to form an all-party cabinet to resolve this economical crisis of Srilanka.

                   

Before this,the opposition party Samadhi Jana Balawegaya(SJB)  verified that it's main leader Sajith Premadasa won't accept the PM's post in an provisional government.

On monday morning , demonstrators conducted a demonstration opposite to the Temple Trees,the head of the government requested the PM not to resign.                   

Following their assembly meeting with PM, They disputed with opposition government protesters at the Temple Trees.Around 16 people were injured and have been admitted in Colombo National Hospital. 

         

The resignation arrived soon after he set out extinguish a tweet to  convince the public and to exercise control. In tweet Mahinda said that-"While emotions are running high between two parties, I request our general public to control  and mind that violence only begets violence in return. Now we're in economic crisis to overcome this an economic solution is needed and our adminstration is committed to resolving".               

Former Sri Lankan cricketer Kumar Sangakkara reacted to Mahinda's tweet and replied ,"The only violence was perpetrated by your 'supporters' - goons and thugs who came to your office first before going on to assault the peaceful protestors."                          

Srilanka has been deeply dived in economical crisis originate from a international trade shortage leds to shortage in necessary items such as fuel, food,water,milk and medicines.                              

Demonstrations have been going on from many days and summoned a call for the government and administrators to come up with a fast solution without any delay.
