Sbc Group Charter Flights To Repatriate Indian Workers From Kuwait

SBC General Trading and Contracting Company, engaged in oil and gas construction activities in Kuwait, charter two flights to Kochi to repatriates their workers who wish to travel back to India including those having medical emergencies and other needs.

According to company officials, around 560 employees, few of them whose projects were over, will be repatriated in chartered flights to India. First two flights will be going to Kochin tentatively on 12th June 2020. More flights are chartered to other parts of India.

This will facilitate reuniting of their employees with their loved ones at their home especially amidst of crucial COVID pandemic fearful circumstances, officials told. The company confirmed its willingness to rehire these employees on a new visa once the circumstances become normal and it secures new contracts.

The flights were scheduled based on the company’s relentless follow-ups and coordination with Embassy of India and both central / state governments in India.
