Saudi Arabia Announces That This Year’s Pilgrimage Is Free From Corona Outbreaks And Epidemic Diseases
The Saudi Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, announced the success of the Hajj health plan for this year’s Hajj 1442 AH, and that it was free from outbreaks of the Corona virus and other epidemic diseases.
The Minister of Health said in statements broadcast by the Saudi Press Agency “SPA”, that the Ministry of Health and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority prepared for Hajj this year 1442 AH through an integrated system of health facilities in the holy sites, which included a group of hospitals, health centers and highly-equipped ambulances supervised by medical, technical and administrative teams. It includes qualified and trained cadres to work during the Hajj season, and all government sectors participating in serving the pilgrims have made great efforts to implement the Hajj health plan to ensure their safety and prevent the spread of infection among them in light of the “Corona” pandemic.
He stressed that the early efforts and precautionary measures in dealing with the health situation of the pandemic during this year’s Hajj season, which required limiting the performance of Hajj to sixty thousand pilgrims who completed the vaccine, contributed to maintaining the health and safety of pilgrims.
