Kuwait Congratulates Saudi Arabia On Its Successful Bid For Hosting World Expo 2030

On Tuesday, His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, sent two cables to Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman to congratulate them on winning the bid to host the World Expo 2030.

Amir said in his message that hosting this significant global event solidifies the Kingdom's eminence and demonstrates the great and deserved confidence the Kingdom has in its ability to organize such an event, owing to its vast potentials, modern infrastructure, and good relations with all nations.

All Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states and sisterly Arab nations should take pride in this victory, he wrote.

Likewise, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulated Saudi Arabia on its successful bid to host World Expo 2030.

According to Kuwait's Foreign Ministry, Saudi Arabia's victory reflects its ambitious aspirations and promising vision under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and its Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

As part of the Kingdom's ambitious development plan, known as the 2030 Vision, this victory is part of a series of great successes for both the Kingdom and the region.
