Return Of A Deported Gulf National To Kuwait Raises Biometric Security Concerns

According to a report by Al-Anba daily, the Ministry of Interior is investigating how an individual from an undisclosed Gulf nation, previously deported after serving time in jail, managed to reenter Kuwait despite having his biometric fingerprints registered in the system.

According to a reliable security source, the suspect was arrested during a security inspection in the Nahda area and is being held in custody as authorities investigate how he returned home.

The source explained that when security personnel questioned the accused about his reentry methods, he refused to cooperate. Consequently, suspicions were raised about possible collusion with a landport employee who may have facilitated his return.
