Public Utilities Seeks To Operate Biggest Car Park In Kuwait

The Public Facilities Management Company has requested the delivery and operation of the multi-storey car park in Dasman — the biggest car park facility in Kuwait, which has an estimated capacity to accommodate 2,300 cars built over an area of 13,000 square meters and consists of 6 floors and a basement.

The sources told Al-Anba, the company has sent a letter to the Kuwait Municipality requesting that the facility to be handed over to it, to manage it, operate it and maintain it according to the purpose for which it was intended, and to complete the observations during operation so that public money to build this facility is not wasted and to maximize the state’s non-oil revenues, especially since the car park was completed in 2019 and has not yet been exploited.

The sources stated that the proposal submitted by the “public utilities” is to sign a temporary contract with the Kuwait Municipality until completion of the contract between the Ministry of Finance and the Public Utilities Company.
