Public Authority for Housing Welfare anticipates the number of vacancies to be filled by Kuwaitis in general positions by the end of this year will reach 1,325, costing KD 5.849 million, indicating that the current 27 vacancies will be filled in March, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to a report released by the authority, ten available senior-level positions will gulp up to KD 76,000 in the form of salaries. This is in addition to another 13 support jobs that will consume KD 20,000.

The authority is in need of 42 engineers including 27 Kuwaiti junior engineers and 15 experienced expatriate engineers. Regarding job vacancies for expatriates, the report revealed that 650 jobs have been penned down for the current fiscal year. This number is likely to increase to 665 with a total salary of KD 4.400 million. It declared the need to fill vacancies for 38 expatriate engineers who were either relieved of their jobs or had willingly resigned earlier this fiscal year.
