Power Failure In Central Jail

Police officers from Jahra Security Command were on alert after receiving information regarding the alleged total power failure in the Central Jail. The officers quickly surrounded the entire area in anticipation of any emergency, whereas the concerned bodies in the Ministry of Electricity were called to the scene and they restored electricity within a short period. Luckily, no untoward incident was reported during blackout. Investigations are ongoing to identify reasons behind the blackout.
