Pm Will Begin Consultations For The Formation Of The Seventh Government
Until yesterday afternoon none of the ministers from outside the ruling family were informed whether they will continue in office or they will be relieved of their duties, reports Al-Anba daily quoting reliable sources.
The same sources said, that would be done after completion of rounds of consultation to form a consensus government. The sources said HH the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak will begin consultations for the formation of the seventh government.
He is expected to meet representatives of ‘parties’ and ‘blocks’ to form a government that will take into consideration everything without violating the powers of the executive and without interference from any quarters.
;The sources said the expansion of the consultations will result in the formation of a government capable of meeting the aspirations of the current phase, the implementation of an agreed vision, in addition to the government work program through the implementation of executive plans in various areas.
In the meantime, well-informed sources said that the Council of Ministers meets in its capacity as caretaker government and has full powers to take extraordinary decisions on urgent issues. The sources said the caretaker government also meets in the event of unexpected and extraordinary business, which obliges the government to take decisions.
As per the claim for appointment of ministers from among the MPs the sources cited Article (56) of the Constitution which stipulates that Ministers are appointed from among members of the National Assembly and from others.
