Pcr Test Permission Given To Only One Lab Will Create Crowding
Since only one laboratory was given permission to issue the PCR certificate to ensure the passenger is ‘coronafree’ which cost the applicant KD 40 and which is considered high compared to neighboring countries, the regional director of ‘Middle East Airlines’ in Kuwait called for increasing the number of PCR examination laboratories to meet the requests of travelers, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
He issued the call citing crowding by citizens and expatriates to obtain the document before traveling, stressing that the only laboratory specified by the Ministry Health is not sufficient at all to provide the number of PCR certificates.
The daily quoting sources, said the company was forced to cancel the reservations of a large number of citizens and expatriates who wanted to travel to Lebanon due to the lack of ability to provide PCR certificates and explained canceling reservations was what he called an option, especially for those wishing to spend a vacation in hotels or tourist resorts which depend on accommodation and flight reservations simultaneously.
