Passenger Arriving To Kuwait “immune App” To Change Color

The Director of Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Health, M. Ahmed Al-Gharib stated that based on Cabinet Ministers decision regarding home quarantine for passengers arriving to Kuwait from Dec 26th for a period of 10 days, can end their quarantine period by conducting PCR test after 72 hrs entering the country provided the result is negative. No PCR test will be taken into account before 72 hrs of arrival. Minimum of 72 hrs home quarantine is a must and only after that PCR test can be done. 


M. Al-Ghareeb stated that the Immune App will display purple color for passengers arriving to Kuwait until a PCR test is done after 72 hrs of arrival so that the person has to remain in isolation in these 72 hrs. Only after 72 hrs when the PCR test is performed it will return to its original color if the result is negative.

All arriving passengers should download Shlonik, My ID apps before arriving in Kuwait. The Ministry of Health has linked all ports in the Ministry of Interior with Kuwait Musafir, Shlonak and My Identity Apps to ensure precautionary measures are taken for passengers coming from travel, reports Al Anba. Those who have been vaccinated outside Kuwait must upload their vaccination certificate on Immune App. Those who have received a booster dose abroad can also upload their third vaccination dose certificate.
