Parking Sheds, Gardens Not Allowed
The emergency team of Farwaniya Municipality headed by Ahmad Al-Shuraka continued its campaign against the structures erected on the state property in Sabah Al-Nasser area. The team issued three warnings against the violations of setting up parking shades and gardens without obtaining a license from the concerned authorities within the municipality, reports Al-Qabas daily. Meanwhile, Director of Hawally Municipality Eng Ahmed Al-Huzeim explained that teams of inspectors from the municipality issued 1,258 warning citations against grocery stores in investment residences, parallel markets and restaurants in the month of August.
They also issued 104 citations and closed down four shops that violated municipality’s conditions and regulations, as well as lifted 361 neglected vehicles, and washed and sterilized 48,001 dumpsters. In a press statement, Eng Al- Huzeim affirmed the determination of the inspectors to firmly apply and enforce rules and regulations against violators. He called on all shopkeepers to adhere to the health requirements of wearing gloves and masks, and maintaining physical distancing in order to ensure their safety and the safety of the public, and to avoid violations that may reach the point of administrative closure.
