Pam Evokes Automatic Linkage With Bulk Labor Exporting Countries

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has evoked the automatic link with the labor exporting countries to confront the visa trade.

The link was stopped following the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.

The Al-Jarida daily has learned the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) is studying the revival of the project to complete the automatic linkage with labor-exporting countries, especially with countries which export a big percentage in laborers by activating the administrative circular (18/2021), for issuing entry visas and work permits.

According to the sources, PAM had made great strides in the project, but the spread of the epidemic prevented its completion.

The sources explained the automated link is a documentation between the Kuwaiti side and the labor-exporting countries of the validity of the contract and the job opportunity, which is done through the direct automated interaction between PAM and its counterparts in those countries.

The sources confirmed that there are several benefits to completing the link, on top of which is confronting the phenomenon of the visa trade, by making sure that the company that recruits the worker exists, and carries out its work in a normal and legal manner, and does not have any problems.

This is in addition to eliminating the methods of recruitment that are not serious and not useful for the worker.

The link also prevents fictitious work opportunities, which often end in non-delivery of work to expatriate workers, which puts them in an illegal position.

In addition, following the issuance of the Administrative Circular (17/2021) regarding the mechanism for issuing work permits to those recruited has the benefit of entering the country on a commercial visit visa.

The sources confirmed PAM is serious about converting commercial visit visa to Article (18)

On the issue of the spread of advertisements for the sale of residence and entry visas on some social networking sites, the sources confirmed that there is strict control which happens periodically to control these criminal activities.
