Over 3000 Residential Violators Have Been Captured In Farwaniya In The Last 5 Months
According to statistics released by the Ministry of Interior's Public Security Sector, the Farwaniya Governorate Security Directorate carried out extensive security campaigns between 10/9/2021 and 17/2/2022, targeting Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, Hasawi, Khaitan, and surrounding areas, issuing 4,032 traffic violations and arresting 3,083 violators of residence and labor laws, including 233 street vendors, on the orders of its Director-General, Brigadier Abdullah Saff
According to a local Arabic daily, security officers were able to apprehend 473 absconding persons, register 59 drug charges, and detain 645 people without identity.
Security officers also arrested 610 people for whom arrest warrants had been issued, as well as 8 people who had been sentenced to prison in absentia, one man who had entered the country illegally, ten people for possession or consumption of alcohol, and 17 expatriates for gambling, as well as raiding an alcohol factory.
