No Renewal Residence Above 60 Yrs Age High-schoolers Stays

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has appealed to the authorized signatories to accelerate the registration of their electronic signature before the date Jan 12, 2021, the date of the start of work in the new electronic systems, in order to complete all work procedures automatically through the ‘As’hal’ service, especially since all procedures will be automated on this date in order not to disrupt work of institutions and companies, reports Al-Anba daily.

PAM has stressed on the importance of registering the electronic signature to obtain the new file numbers from PAM through the electronic portal of the authority.

On the other hand, informed sources at the PAM confirmed that with the launch of the new system, the decision not to renew work permits for those who have reached the age of 60 and hold high school diplomas or below will be implemented. PAM said there is no truth to what has been circulated in the media that PAM is reviewing the decision, and stressed the decision has become effective from Jan 1, 2021.
