No Expatriate Advisers In The Minister’s Office
The Ministry of Public Works revealed only five advisors work in the Minister’s office and they are all Kuwaitis in line with the ministry’s commitment to give opportunity to citizens to prove their expertise.
Minister Rana Al-Faris explained she is committed to implementing the Cabinet’s decision, which stipulates the appointment of only 5 advisors in each minister, in addition to rationalizing spending, reports Al-Jarida daily.
With regard to determining their salaries or bonuses, she said a proposal will be presented to the Civil Service Commission. The Ministry estimates the monthly salary for consultants at 8,000 dinars, based upon experience and field of consultancy.
