Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is one of the most severe offenses. The penalties for this violation include:
**Imprisonment**: From 1 to 3 years
**Fine**: Between 1,000 to 3,000 KD
Using the Mobile While Driving
Distracted driving, especially due to mobile phone use, is a significant cause of accidents. The penalties are:
**Imprisonment**: For 3 months
**Fine**: 300 KD
Exceeding the Speed Limit
Speeding not only endangers the driver but also other road users. The updated penalties are:
**Imprisonment**: For 3 months
**Fine**: Up to 500 KD
Crossing the Red Light
Running a red light can lead to severe accidents. The penalties for this violation are:

**Fine**: Between 200 to 500 KD
Illegally Tinting the Car
Unauthorized car window tinting is now punishable by:
**Imprisonment**: For 2 months
**Fine**: Up to 200 KD
Leaving Children or Pets Peeking Out of the Car

Placing a Child Under 10 Years Old in the Front Seats
