The Ministry of Health is taking decisive action against the illegal sale of banned and prohibited medicines on social media platforms. In coordination with the Ministry of Interior, efforts are underway to arrest the owners of these sites, according to sources who spoke to Al-Anbaa.
This crackdown comes in response to a recent surge in the online display and sale of unauthorized medicines. The Ministry of Health, working closely with the Cybercrime Department of the Ministry of Interior, is monitoring these activities to ensure that offenders are investigated, apprehended, and referred to the judiciary.
The collaboration aims to curb this growing phenomenon and protect public health by preventing the unregulated distribution of potentially dangerous pharmaceuticals.
