New Circular To The Ministry Of Health To Protect Medical Personnel From Corona

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health issued a circular today, aimed at limiting the spread of Corona virus infection to which health facility workers may be exposed, especially medical, technical, administrative, and service personnel in the health sector, and to continue to perform work efficiently and competently to address this epidemic.

The circular for all officials of the Ministry stipulates the need to emphasize all workers in its facilities the importance of wearing masks during the official working period, in addition to the commitment of all employees to physical distance and not to gather at workplaces, whether in offices or rest houses, while applying the preventive health requirements approved by the infection prevention department .

The circular included the establishment of a clinic in each public hospital and a specialized center, to follow up workers in health facilities each according to his work location, take preventive and diagnostic measures in case of suspicion of injury to these, and submit a weekly report to health district managers. He also instructed the infection prevention departments in hospitals and health centers to conduct continuous inspection of those health facilities and all their employees, and to submit a daily report to the managers and a copy of the Undersecretary, To take appropriate measures against those not complying with public and preventive health recommendations.
