Nestlé Steps Up Local Response To Support Consumers In Kuwait Amidst Covid-19 Pandemic
Nestlé Kuwait is working closely with the local authorities to ensure that its much-needed food and beverage products remain available for consumers in the country amidst COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve this, Nestlé continues to work with its supply chain, distribution and retail partners such as Kuwait Flour Mills & Bakeries Company, cooperatives, supermarkets, groceries, and pharmacies among others to ensure product availability and delivery of products throughout the country.
“At Nestlé, we care deeply for people and for the communities in which we operate. We would like to assure our customers and consumers in Kuwait that we will continue to produce and deliver quality products to meet the local demand. Our people are fully committed and are working tirelessly to ensure that supply is maintained,” said Tarek Ksaybati, Nestlé General Business Manager in Kuwait.
“We are also increasing our stock covers on critical products and have kept our activities in Kuwait fully operational since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring ongoing provision of product availability and supply at the same price.” He ended.
The company has also put in place additional safety measures at its Kuwait offices and distribution centers, to ensure the highest levels of hygiene and food safety. Nestlé is also working with local supply chain, distribution and retail partners to implement appropriate infection control measures and ensure continued production and delivery of products.
