Municipality Ready To Study Issue Of Change In Working Hours Of Cleaners
The Acting Director-General of Kuwait Municipality Engineer Faisal Al-Juma, said the Municipality is ready to study the issue of change in the working hours of cleaners, especially in the morning, due to the cold winter weather.
The Municipality will study any request submitted to it by the cleaning companies, the Al-Rai daily said quoting Al-Juma.
However, an informed source told the daily the Municipality has not rejected any request book in this regard, especially that the decision to change the work schedule does not adversely affect the overall performance of the companies.
The source stressing that “in the event of any request in this framework will be circulated immediately to all companies so that work can start late in the morning and the same can be compensated in the evening.” The source pointed out, “most of those workers remain in the streets for a longer period than required, despite the warnings of the Municipality for the companies to comply with work schedules, and some of them start work early.”
