Mubarakiya: Ministry Of Interior Requests Installation Of A Booth

The Ministry of Interior has requested that a security point be built in the Qibla neighborhood, behind Souk Al Mubarakiya, on the fourth commercial plot.

According to a local Arabic daily, there is a provision for a mobile 'kiosk' belonging to the public security sector of the Security Directorate of the Capital Governorate in principle between the competent authority in the Ministry of Interior and the Mubarakiya Markets Committee regarding the allocation of two security points that belong to the Capital Governorate's security.

The Municipality, on the other hand, has consented to the request and specified in its technical opinion that it be temporary and made of light materials and that it can be removed at the Municipality's request without liability, with commitment and conformity to existing norms and regulations.

As a result, Osama Al-Otaibi, the leader of the Municipal Council, has brought the matter to the Municipality's Capital Governorate Committee for deliberation on Sunday.
