The Ministry of Interior (MoI) proudly announced its successful interception of a significant smuggling attempt involving 100 kilograms of hashish, which was intended to enter the country via the sea. This achievement underscores the unwavering commitment of security services in safeguarding the nation against illicit activities.

According to the Department of Security Media and Relations within the ministry, the Drug Control General Department apprehended a national individual who was orchestrating the trafficking operation. The estimated value of the seized drugs amounts to approximately KD 250,000, highlighting the substantial impact of the interception.

In a press statement, the ministry reiterated its dedication to combatting drug smugglers and shielding society from the harmful effects of narcotics. This interception represents a pivotal step in the ongoing efforts to curtail the influence of such criminal elements within the country.
