MP Queries The Delay In Expatriate Professional Tests

Member of Parliament Abdulaziz Al-Saqaabi has brought attention to the prolonged delay in the execution of the professional testing initiative for expatriates intending to work in Kuwait. In his inquiry, he raised concerns about the lack of progress in implementing the project that was announced several years ago.

Several years back, the Public Authority of Manpower unveiled plans to conduct mandatory tests for expatriate professionals such as engineers, doctors, accountants, and others before their arrival in Kuwait for employment purposes. Despite the announcement, the actual implementation of these tests has faced significant delays.

During a parliamentary session, Al-Saqaabi questioned the Minister, seeking clarification on the reasons behind the prolonged delay. He also inquired about the specific measures that have been taken thus far to initiate the testing process and ensure its timely execution.
