Moj Inspected The Grand Mosques Preparation For The Last Ten Days Of Ramadan

Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Fahad Al-Afasi on Wednesday inspected the Grand Mosque’s preparation for the last ten days of Ramadan. Dr Al-Afasi was briefed about the preparations by the management of the mosque, which will be tasked receiving thousands of worshippers during this period. Dr Al-Afasi praised the level of preparations and wished best of luck to the organizers.

The Grand Mosque is the biggest mosque in Kuwait, well known for its Islamic architecture and prayer arrangement during the last ten days of Ramadan. Occurring in one of the last ten days of Ramadan is Laylat Al Qadr (The Night of Decree) which marks the night during the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet Mohammad.
