Moi To Collect Debts From Expatriates Departing The Country

Expats with outstanding debts to the Ministry of Transportation have been instructed to pay their dues before leaving the country, as part of a new policy implemented by the Ministry of Interior. This new measure is set to take effect starting tomorrow, Wednesday.

The Ministry of Interior emphasized that every foreign national intending to leave the country, regardless of their reason for departure, must settle any outstanding bills through the Ministry of Transportation’s website or the “Sahl” application, reported Al-Jarida Daily.

In light of this development, the Ministry of Interior has called upon all residents and visitors to strictly adhere to the established legal provisions. The document stressed the importance of adhering to these regulations, stating that any violations would not be tolerated.
